Magistrate Gives In - The Judicial System is a Joke

In the Cairns Post Wednesday March 10, 2010 the story outlines an offender abusing the sitting Magistrate who in turn ordered that the offender be taken into custody and be charged with "comptempt ".
Then as the offender was being led away the magistrate did a turn around and gave the offender the chance to opologise and the offender not wanting to go to jail quickly apologise.
My point is if you abuse the court then you pay the penalty and this is an example why the system doesn't work.

Cameras are located all around the CBD and are manned 24/7 so if you assult or rob anyone you maybe filmed and you will end up in court and perhaps jail.
The most sensible approach is to behave, cut down on the drink and walk away if someone wants to start a fight.

I am dedicated to help prevent crimes in Cairns and the surrounding area. This city has unfortunately gone from bad to worse in regards to crime and we the residents of this great city need to band together and put pressure on our local representatives and let them know that we will not tolerate this behaviour.
